Long ago, before the shining presence/arrival/manifestation of Saint Michael, the archangel who champions/protects/defends the light divine, darkness/shadow/evil held sway over much/parts/all of creation/the world/existence. The heavens/Angels/Heavenly realms were cloaked/covered/shrouded in a veil/mist/shadow and fear/trepidation/doubt permeated every corner/hearts of men/the land. People lived/survived/endured in a state of constant/ever-present/unending anxiety/terror/dread as the forces of darkness/shadowy powers/evil entities ran rampant/held sway/spread their influence.
However/And so during this dark age/period of despair/time of turmoil that the first glimmer/a spark of hope/a beacon of light began to appear/emerge/shine. Stories/Legends/Whispers were passed down/shared/told of a powerful being/great warrior/noble champion who would come to deliver/save mankind/usher in a new era.
